Annapurna Circuit Trek

The Annapurna Circuit trek takes you around the magnificent Annapurna massif standing at 8,091 meters. No wonder it is the tenth highest mountain on Earth! This is a moderate trek that takes around a bit more than 2 weeks.

The highlights of the trek include spectacular views of Himalayan Greats such as Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, Paganda Peak. The Trek also involves crossing the Thorong La Pass (5,416m) whihc is the widest pass in the world.

The trek takes you through rhododendron forests, waterfalls, and huge cliffs and paddy fields. Furthermore, the trek encompasses four regions i.e. Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, and Myagdi.

Poon Hill Trek

The Poon Hill Trek is a very popular trek in Nepal. One of the best things about it is that it is short and easy. This trek also takes place in the Annapurna region. One of the highlights of this trip is the view of the sunrising over the magnificent Himalayan mountains like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna ranges, Manaslu and other mountains. The trek takes you through rhododendron and bamboo forests, and culturally rich Gurung and Magar villages. The best season for the trek is autumn (October-November) and Spring (March – May).

The Everest Base camp trek brings you very close to Mt Everest and offers mouth watering views of other famous peaks like Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt.Lhotse, and Mt. Upper Mustang Trek

Just until 1992 no visitor was allowed to trek in Upper Mustang. With little outside influence the region fully preserves its ancient Tibetan-Buddhist culture, traditions, lifestyles, and unique landscape. It also offers extraordinary views of peaks like Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukche, Annapurna. The trek also takes you to the Muktinath Temple which is one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal. En route you will be passing through arid landscapes, deep gorges, and mountain valleys and eroded rock faces,. The trek also involves the crossing of the Thorong La and Mesokanto La pass. Like most of the trekking routes in Nepal, the best season for this is autumn (September-November) and Spring (March – May) as well. The trek takes around 15-17 days.

Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi Himal trek is a new trekking route in Annapurna region which is short, moderate and packed with beautiful views. Moreover, being fairly new it is less crowded as well. The trek offers magnificent views of Machhapuchre (a.k.a. Fishtail, 6,993 m), Annapurna South (7,010m), and Mount Hiunchuli (3,441 m). This trek is excellent for those that have little trekking experience and less time in their hands. The trek takes mostly 8-10 days. The best time to trek is at autumn and spring.

The Langtang Valley Trek is an ideal trek for those that are looking for a sweet escape in Nepal. It is moderate, takes around 14 days maximum, and is filled with extraordinary views. The many highlights of the trek include the climbing of the Tersko Ri Peak (5,000 m) and the sunrise view over the great Himalayas. The best season to trek is autumn and spring.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is an awesome trip that takes you around the great Manaslu mountain (8163 meters). Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the world. Upper Dolpo Trekking

The Upper Dolpo Trek is another challenging yet extremely enjoyable treks in Nepal. The trek can take more than 25 days! It does so becuase it takes you to one of the most remote regions of Nepal. Because of it being isolated for so long Dolpo preserves much of its ancient culture and traditions. Not only culturally but even naturally the whole is pristine and untouched; unspoiled by modernity. The trail of the trek offers astonishing views of giants such as Kanjirowa, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Another major higlight of the trek is Lake Phoksundo which is the deepest lake in Nepal. You might even spot the rare Musk Deer, Himalayan Blue Sheep and the rare Snow Leopard en route! The best time to trek is in autumn and spring.

Gokyo Valley Trek

The Gokyo Valley Trek offers spectacular views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Chu Oyo. In this trek you will be travelling through culturally rich Sherpa villages, monasteries and valleys to ultimately witness the high glacial lakes also known as the emerald lakes of Gokyo Ri. The lakes lay quietly tucked while the great Himalayan giants guard them. The trek is a bit tough and can take up to two weeks. The best time to visit is autumn and spring.

Kanchenjunga Trek

The Kanchenjunga Trek is a lengthy trek in the eastern part of Nepal that offers you splendid views of Everest, Makalu and Kanchenjunga. Standing at 8586 meters, Kanchenjunga takes the place of the third highest mountain in the world. Furthermore, the Kanchenjunga Massif is known as one the most beautiful massifs in the world. This trek offers you oak and Rhododendron forests, ever-changing landscapes, and the culture and traditions of the ancient Limbu people. You will also have to cross the Mirgin La and Lapsang La Pass during the trek which is another adventure in itself. The trek can last up to 27 days, and the best seasons are autumn and spring.
