Smoothies are quite popular nowadays as they are super easy to make. Plus, they are loaded with much needed vitamins, minerals and fiber. Also, they keep you content well until lunchtime.

Here are a few recipes I’ve compiled to help you make your own healthy breakfast. Once you’re used to it, you can experiment as much as you want. You can create smoothies from just about any fruit. And, the best part is they’re all sugarless.

Apple Ginger Smoothie

Ever wondered what a combination of apple and ginger tastes like? Well, it’s surprisingly pleasing. A perfect blend of spice and sweet.

Ingredients:

1 apple

½ inch piece of ginger, peeled and chopped

3 teaspoons lemon juice

4 teaspoons honey

1 cup water

1 cup ice

Method:

Take all the ingredients and blend them all in the blender till they become smooth. This is a serving for one person. If you like to get creative you can even add chopped carrot to make it vitamin A rich.

Banana and Honey Smoothie

Unlike apple and ginger, banana and honey definitely sounds sweet as heaven. We’ll also add in some oats as well. Oats add in the much needed fiber and minerals along with crunchiness to the creamy honey and banana combination.

Ingredients:

2 ripe Bananas

1 cup milk

2 teaspoons honey

2 teaspoons oats

1 teaspoon chocolate powder

1 cup ice

Method:

Just blend it all until they become smooth. And, that’s it!

Strawberry Oats Smoothie

Here comes another great morning smoothie. How many of you love strawberries? How about oats? I think there’d be a higher number of people that like strawberry more than oats. However, this smoothie is sure to change that.

Ingredients:

½ cup strawberry halves

1 banana sliced

1/4th cup oats

5-6 almonds chopped

1 cup yoghurt

1 cup honey

Method:

Take all the ingredients and blend them all in the blender till they become smooth.

Watermelon Smoothie

This is a great smoothie that’s best for anytime of the day, especially during summers.

Ingredients:

2 cups watermelon cubes

1/3rd cup yoghurt

2 teaspoons chopped mint

2 teaspoons honey

1 cup ice

Method:

Just blend it all until they become smooth. And, that’s it!

Take all the ingredients except honey and mint, and blend for a few seconds. Then add the honey and mint and blend until mixture turns smooth.

Mango and Banana Smoothie

The Gods must’ve been in a pretty good mood when they created mangoes and bananas.

Ingredients:

1 cup mango

1 whole banana

½ cup milk

Ice

Method:

Take all the ingredients and blend them until they become smooth.  Add in some crushed ice, and whipped cream to make it more rich and creamy.
