Room for Improvement

The phone lacks a Micro USB port. Also, the User Interface (UI) needs improvement. It has bloatwares and features which can be more of a hindrance to the user.

Conclusion

Overall, the phone is a good choice at the price range. It matches and sometimes beats competition in battery, camera, and display, however the UI needs some improvements.  Currently, Infinix Note 7 price in India starts at Rs. 21,990. Build and Appearance

The Infinix Hot 9 Play has a large plastic body with a glossy back panel showing off the gem-cut texture. Except for the back panel, the rest are all plastic including the buttons. You can get Hot 9 Play in Quetzal Cyan, Violet, Ocean Wave, and Midnight Black color options.

Display

The Infinix Hot 9 Play has a 6.82-inch display featuring an HD+ display with a pixel density of 263 PPI. The size of the display and the low resolution doesn’t help in the viewing experience. Also, it lacks a protective covering as well. However, at this price range it is acceptable just the resolution takes the fun away of having a huge screen.

Performance

The 4/64GB option of the Hot 9 Play is powered by MediaTek’s Helio A25 processor which is perfect for a bit of gaming and running your daily apps. More so, you can easily play games like PUBG Mobile Lite lag free at a good frame rate. Furthermore, this device’s storage capacity can be expanded up to 256GB.Furthermore, the phone runs on Android 10 out with Infinix’s XOS UI on top. Most importantly, the phone has a huge 6000 Mah battery that will last you 2 days! Camera

The Hot 9 Play a has a main 3MP camera lens at the back with QVGA low-light sensor and Triple-LED flash. The camera is decent and can take good shots in good lighting conditions. Furthermore, the pictures produced are almost better than its competitions. When it comes to taking selfies, the phone has an 8MP shooter with flash which isn’t that great, but at this price there isn’t more to expect.

Room for Improvement

The Infinix Note 9 play can use a little bit of improvement like any phone would. However, there are a few things you can’t get over. The phone has bloatwares that left disabled or removed wouldn’t hurt the user experience. The single front-firing speaker setup and fast charging capabilities needs an upgrade as well.

Conclusion

If you aren’t that picky when it comes to phones, are under budget, need a big screen, long lasting battery, gaming capabilities, and decent camera setup, this phone is for you.
