Well these are some of the benefits of selling online on Daraz. But, that’s not it. There’s more.

To aid in seller business growth and to help them, Daraz has been initiating different programs over the past few years. These programs are initiated with the aim to assist in seller growth, help them mitigate any issues that they might faced or have faced or to just provide them with the best possible selling experience on our platform.

Back in 2020, Daraz launched the Sahayatri Program. This program was introduced as a Stimulus Package and invited Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) to set up their online stores on Daraz. It was aimed at mitigating any problems faced by the SME’s due to the COVID pandemic. The program successfully received more than 8000 registrations with 2100 SME’s beginning their online operations for the first time.

For this program, Daraz invested NPR 55 Lakh and waived marketplace fees for four months giving small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) access to more than 7 Lakh monthly active Daraz customers across the nation. As per the company, the main objective of the Sahayatri Program was to help SME sellers navigate through the difficulty caused by COVID-19 through financing, marketplace fee waiver, and special trainings.

And yet again, in 2021 Daraz has relaunched the Sahayatri Program with key additional initiative which includes the Seller Promises 2021. Under this, the following key new promises were announced as a commitment to our sellers:

  • No marketplace fees for SMEs starting to sell online for the first time for next 3 months
  • Reduced seller payout cycles from 14 days to only 7 days for all sellers
  • Exclusive SME financing partnership with preferred conditions in collaboration with banking partner Nabil Bank
  • Accelerated sign-up process enabling new sellers to go online within 24 hours of signup
  • Seller queries via live chat to be handled within 30 seconds during business hours
  • Comprehensive e-commerce training and education initiatives via Daraz University

Likewise, Daraz also previously launched another major seller support initiative – Daraz Sarathi Program. Under this program, Daraz partnered with Nabil Bank to provide Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) with a wide range of preferred credit facilities and benefits to aid in their business growth. With these initiatives, and continued investments to increase the user base and seller support, the company expects to more than double the number of sellers before the end of the year.

Samsung Galaxy M32 Launched – Specs & Price in Nepal

The much awaited Samsung Galaxy M32 has finally been launched in Nepal and we are here to dissect it piece by piece. So without further ado, let’s look at all the specs and features of the new Galaxy M32.

We’ll start with the design and display.

Design & Display

Starting off with the design, the Samsung Galaxy M32 has a 6.4″ AMOLED display with a particulary known dewdrop notch at the very top. The bezels are quite thin on the sides and the top but is a little thicker at the bottom half. The frame and the back panel are made of plastic as is. The side portions of the device are curved which makes this phone quite comfortable to hold. The back panel of the Galaxy M32 has a glossy finish which looks pretty but catches fingerprints quite easily. The phone weighs around 196g and has a thickness of 9.3mm. It’s quite heavy but that is a result of the massive 6000 mAh battery that it comes with.

One common feature on all budget-oriented Samsung smartphones is the side-mounted fingerprint and the Galaxy M32 features a similar sensor on the right side. The left side includes the Nano Sim slots and a dedicated slot for your SD card. The bottom part of the devices includes a 3.5mm headphone jack along with the USB Type C port and bottom-firing speakers.

As of now, the Samsung Galaxy M32 is available in Black and Light Blue on Daraz.

The new Samsung Galaxy M32 is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processor. You can get the phone in two varients – 6GB RAM/ 128 GB Storage or 4GB RAM/64GB storage. But you can also expand the storage as per your choice with the dedicated storage slot. As mentioned above, the Galaxy M32 has a 6.4″ Super AMOLED display which offers users a Full HD+ resolution with a 90Hz Refresh Rate.

The Galaxy M32’s GPU is the Mali-G52 and the OS is Android 11 and Samsung’s One UI 3.1. The overall user experience of the Galaxy M32 is quite similar to the previous samsung smartphones. So might not be much difficult to navigate around.

When it comes to battery, the Galaxy M32 is packed with a massive 6000 mAh battery thus the name “BINGE MOSTER” as quoted by the company itself. Although the M32 is capable of supporting 25W fast charging, the device only comes with a 15W power adapter with the box.

The Galaxy M32 is a dual Nano-sim smartphone. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5, dual-band wifi and 4G VoLTE. Other sensors include accelerometer, gyro, proximity and a compass.

As for the camera, the Galaxy M32 has a quad camera setup at the back. It includes a 64 MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. The 64 MP primary camera pixel binning feature delivers a 16 MP default shot.

The front camera is a 20 MP selfie camera which suprisingly is a downgrade from the M31 which had a 32 MP selfie camera.

My oh my, was this conversation amazing. Srijan Bikram Gewali ladies and gentleman. I don’t know what to say other than the fact that this was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Now i don’t know if everybody see’s this or it’s just me, but Sirjan dai almost reminds me of Dimebag Darrel and damn does he play like Dime. It was an honor to just be around someone who knows how to absolutely shred the guitar. Loved every moment.

Srijan dai is an inspiration to many young guitarists out there, he sure is for me. It’s a dream to one day have his set of skills and his onstage persona and just knock it out of the park. But that is for a different time. For now, let’s take a look at this Q/A shall we?

1. How’s the lockdown going? How have you been keeping yourself busy?

This lockdown has been productive for me. Staying home has given me the time to explore & create new music. I spend long hours just practicing new techniques & learning.

2. Any new songs we can expect this year?

As a band we are working on a new album. Right now, we are putting together new ideas & compositions, it’s in the initial stage where each of us are working on our part individually.

3. What made you want to be a guitarist?

I took up guitar at an early age, while in school. Was always attracted towards guitarists & their music. Started performing in school bands & the more I learnt, the more my interest grew. After college, I was active in the live music scene in kathmandu & started performing every weekend. I got an opportunity to experience & learn through gigs. We started making music which was accepted well by the audience & then I never looked back.

4. Who were your guitar idols growing up? Who did you want to be like?

I have always looked up to Sharad Shrestha of the Axe band & my frontman, vocalist & guitarist Divesh Mulmi. I consider myself very fortunate to have joined Cobweb, the band I looked upto while growing up. I am glad play alongside my guitar heroes.

5. Among all the guitars you own, which one is your favorite and why?

I am currently playing a Sahana Guitar, SBG Danphe model. This is my customized guitar with my initials, designed specifically to match my playing style.

6. How do you feel about the current situation on music in Nepal?

Music in Nepal has come a long way. People these days openly follow the genres they like. It’s all about expression. Taking up music professionally is still difficult but we are getting there. We need more creations than covers.

7. Growing up, how often did you practice? Was it like 10-12 hours a day or just a couple hours?

My practice time has always been long hours. Definitely 10-12 hours a day. Once I sit with my guitar, it’s 4-5 hours at a stretch. I take a short break & carry on again. I started off this way & still practice it this way. Everything takes time, so being patient & the will to keep learning & exploring is essential.

8. If you could go back, what advice would you give to your younger self?

I don’t think there will be a need to go back hence no advice.

9. If you weren’t a musician, what profession would you have been involved with?

I love aviation so may be a pilot.

10. And finally, what advice would you give to the next generation of aspiring guitarists?

I would say, follow your passion, be consistent, keep learning & be patient. Nothing happens over night so work hard & you will get there.

Daraz Diaries – Here’s What Our Customers Have To Say

For us at Daraz, customer satisfaction is our top priority. It’s what we strive to accomplish day in day out. And we’re happy to know that our customers are indeed satisfied and happy. So here we bring to you Daraz Diaries, where we will look into some of our customers experience – how they felt when they were shopping online on Daraz.

Shreya Adhikari – Shopping Online Never Felt Easier

“So i would like to share my experience shopping online on Daraz. For quite some time, i’d been wanting to get a triple door refrigerator – more specifically the WHIRLPOOL TRIPLE DOOR FROST REFRIGERATOR. I initially did not think about shopping online. I just wandered to the nearest whirlpool showroom i could find. But to my dismay, none of the showrooms i’d visited had the one refridgerator i wanted. And that was a problem, a major one. And when i did finally found one, it was damaged.

So that right there is when i decided i would try my luck online. Without a second thought, i hopped on to the Daraz website and meticulously typed in “Whirlpool triple door fridge”. Lo-and-behold, i had found what i was looking for. And the price was lower than what the showroom people had quoted. And so i ordered the refrigerator within seconds. Just in a few days, the guys over at Daraz contacted me and they shipped the product to my doorsteps. Oh, how delightful their delivery riders were. So yeah, i’ve been ordering everything from Daraz ever since.”

Krisha Pradhananga – The best place to shop online

Just wanted to drop you guys a quick note to say how happy I am with the service I have had. Especially during this lockdown. I’d really been wanting to read books during the lockdown. I had time and nothing to do. But, since the shops were closed and noone else was delivering, I could not find any books anywhere. Thankfully, Daraz was there. Even during the lockdown, Daraz made sure i had the best experience i could possibly have. And what’s surprising is the variety of books that they had. Not only shopping platforms do. So that was an added bonus for me.

I found the book i was looking for “The Intelligent Investor” . However, i may have over-indulged. I bought five books alltogether and i must say, i’ve enjoyed every bit of it. The Daraz team delivered me the book right away without any hassle. Click, tap and pay, that’s all it took. So thank you Daraz for your speedy dispatch, the book arrived safely and intact. I couldn’t be more thankful.

Check out some amazing books you can read

Himalaya Lamichhane Gifting just got a lot easier

I really want to thank Daraz for helping me deliver a wonderful gift to my friend on his birthday. It was a surprise gift and was he surprised i tell you. I would have delivered it myself, but it was during lockdown and i couldn’t leave my home even if i wanted to. So i just went on Daraz, found the gift, used the voucher i had won, cut the price, and then sent the gift. All while staying home.

But to be honest, sending it via Daraz made it even more amazing cause he’d didn’t even have a slightest bit of clue. So thank you Daraz, your really helped me out a lot.

Prabesh NiroulaCan’t thank Daraz enough

As a guitar player, i constantly have to deal with broken strings, dirty freatboards and messed up cables. And that requires a lot of coming and going to the guitar shops. It was never really a problem for me before but then came the lockdown. All the shops and stores were closed. I was left here with a broken string which eventually made the guitar just a piece of wood. But to my surprise, Daraz was delivering. I saw one of their sponsored ads on Facebook. So i checked to see if they’d got any strings, and freatboard cleaners. THEY DID! Man that was a glorious feeling.

I’d always been shopping on Daraz even before the lockdown. But it’s their commitment during the lockdown that made me realise that these people actually care about their customers. So thank you so much to Daraz and its team. You have a very satisfied customers in me.

So these are some of the reviews made by our customers. We’ve got more and we’ll list them out as we go on with our Daraz Diaries. If you have something that you would like to add, please feel free to share your story down at the comment section below.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G Launched – Specs and Price in Nepal

OnePlus has finally released the new Nord CE 5G in Nepal exclusively via Daraz. Following up with last years’ Nord series, the new Nord CE 5G comes jam packed with the latest specs and a budget-friendly price tag. If you’ve ever used a OnePlus smartphone, you know just how amazing their devices really are. And the OnePlus Nord CE 5G does not disappoint.

So let’s look at the all the OnePlus Nord CE 5G’s features and specifications.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G looks pretty amazing. It’s design is somewhat of a reminiscent of last years Nord. The phone is quite slim at around 7.9mm thickness. The weight is around 170g which by comparison is quite lighter as compared to other smartphones. With the edges curved, the grip feels quite natural and balanced.

The front portion of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G is a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a punch hole camera at the top left corner. The frame of the device is made of plastic with the buttons being placed near the center. The volume button is on the left side while the power button is on the right. These placements make it easier for the user to reach the buttons without having to strecth you fingers. But, unlike the other OnePlus smartphones, the Nord CE 5G does not have a alert slider. This is quite a surprise considering the fact that the alert slider has become a trademark for OnePlus.

As of now, the One Plus Nord CE 5G is available in Blue Void and Charcoal Ink on Daraz.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. The 750G uses its onboarded AI to swiftly power advanced processing, incredible graphics and 5G gaming. The phone is currently available in the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage on Daraz.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G’s GPU is the Andreno 619. As for the OS, the NORD CE runs on OxygenOS 11 which is based on the Android 11. It also introduces a bunch of new features such as the Dark Mode which helps the user reduce eye strain. The user can also customize their AOD (Always on Display) with colors, graphics and can also create a one-of-a-kind photo illustration.

As for the battery, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G comes with a 4500mAh battery which is an upgrade from the original Nord. The Nord CE 5G supports 30W fast charging and also is equipped with a Warp Charge 30T charger. The Warp Charge 30T Plus improves power transfer to bring Nord CE’s large-capacity battery from 0 to 70% in just 30 minutes.

Likewise, if you were to remember, OnePlus previously removed the headphone jack in the original Nord smartphone. However, probably by popular demand, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G comes with a built in headphone jack.

The Nord CE 5G is a dual Nano-sim smartphone. It features a In-display fingerprint sensor as well as Face Unlock. Other sensors include Accelerometer, Promixity, Gyroscope, Sensor Core, Ambient Light and Electronic Compass.

As for the camera, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G includes a triple camera setup which includes a 64MP wide primary, a 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth camera.  The 64MP main camera’s large f/1.79 aperture helps the user capture more light and detail, even in low light situations. Likewise, the AI scene detection interprets what the user is seeing and automatically adjusts the camera settings like color, contrast, and exposure for a more brilliant, lifelike photo.

The front features a 16MP camera so rest assured you’re selfies will look amazing. Both the front and the rear cameras feature Portrait Mode, giving users more creative control than ever. It automatically adjusts focus to create eye-catching bokeh effects.
