Samsung has announced the launch of its latest Samsung Galaxy A52s smartphone in Nepal. A successor to the Galaxy A52, the new Galaxy A52s is yet another of Samsung’s budget and mid-range smartphones and is a reminder that Samsung is still at the top of Smartphone manufacturing.
While there aren’t many differences between the A52 and the A52s, the inclusion of new features such as the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G system-on-chip gives the A52s an edge over its predecessor. DISPLAY
In terms of display, the Samsung Galaxy A52s comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. You just know that Samsung’s displays are going to be amazing. The refresh rate has been upgraded to 120Hz from the A52’s 90Hz which is going to be pretty handy for all the gamers out there.
The size bezels have also been toned down as compared to the top and bottom edges and the screen is protected by cornering Gorilla Glass 5.

PERFORMANCE AND SOFTWARE
The latest A52s is powered by Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Kryo 670 & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo 670) processor and runs on the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G. This is by far the most notable change in the A52s as compared to the A52. The new chipset gives the A52s a boost when it comes to overall performance.
This device comes in two variants – 8GB RAM/ 128GB of Storage and 6 RAM/ 128GB of Storage. The storage can be expanded via microSD card with a dedicated slot. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy A52s runs One UI 3.0 which is based o Android 11. And as for the battery, the Galaxy A52s has a 4500mAh battery which supports 25W fast charging. However, you’ll be receiving a 15W in the box.
As per Samsung, the Galaxy A52s is set up to support up to 12 network bands. But until 5G becomes fully available in Nepal, we cannot be certain about the A52’s network capabilities. As for now, the 5G network support is a novelty that offers very little benefit period.

CAMERA
Moving on to the camera, the A52s comes with a quad-camera setup that includes a 64 MP wide camera, 12 MP ultrawide camera, 5MP macro camera and a 5MP depth camera.
On the front, the A52s features a 32-megapixel selfie camera. And it also includes additional features such as LED Flash, panaroma and HDR. The front camera also supports 4K video capturing at 30fps as well as 1080p video capturing at 30fps.
DESIGN
Moving on to the design, the new Galaxy A52s back panel is made up of plastic that includes a quad-camera setup and an LED flash. The overall weight of the A52s is about 189g. The front portion is made up of Glass which is Gorilla Glass 5 protected.
The phone comes in three different colours – Black, Green and Violet.
PORTS AND CONNECTIVITY
